horse tackThe bond between man and horse is similar to how we accept dogs into our lives. It takes a special person to raise and care for a horse. They are large animals with large needs. Having enough property is one thing but maintaining them is entirely something else. It is a full time job. I’m not surprised every single horse owner or enthusiast I’ve ever met shares a connection with their animal on par with a long time friend. People go to great lengths for their animals. To be perfectly honest I was sadder to see the old family dog pass away than any other form of loss I’ve experienced so far.

My friend does whatever it takes for her horse. She has all the horse tack he could want, food for days and more than enough exercise as she rides him around the pasture.
