horse tackIt was surprising yesterday was the last official day of summer. Time flew by didn’t it? It seems like just yesterday I was lighting the fuse on a smoke bomb during the Fourth of July. Between the vacations, days on the beach and time with friends I couldn’t ask for anything more. Life is meant to be lived and I accomplished that this past summer. Now we are into Fall. My friend asked if I wanted to come mount up the horse tack with her this morning and go for a first of the season ride. I couldn’t because of work but it sounded like a lot of fun. These past two days have been nice and overcast.

Living in Southern California we got our fair share of sun over the summer. We will surely get more before the end of the year so it’s nice to have colder days. My friend went riding with someone else to put her new horse tack to good use. Next time I want to go for sure. An early morning ride seems like lots of fun. Just give me the right horse tack and show me on my way.
