horse halter, conchos
My niece loves to ride horses. I would have to say her favorite outdoor activity is horseback riding which is why her parents bought her a horse of her own a couple of years ago. Since that time almost every waking moment has been spent involved with the horse on one level or another other than time in school. Horses require a lot of care, grooming, feeding and exercising. She has also taken a lot of riding lessons and I am proud to say has participated in a couple of competitions this last year and it's my understanding that she is doing quite well. Her birthday is coming up and I called my sister to get some suggestions as to what I might get her as a gift. My sister knew that I didn't know much about horses or the horse community but she did know that I loved to make my own jewelry and craft items. With that in mind she said that my niece was entered in a competition on the weekend of her birthday and they had just bought her a show halter for her horse. Apparently it's not just about the riding but how your horse looks as well. Of coarse it makes sense that the more fancy and decked out your horse, the more favorable attention he or she receives. My sister recommended I decorate the horse halter with conchos to make it more attractive. I loved the idea because I always like to try new decorating ideas, I had never worked with conchos before and I had certainly never worked with a horse halter. The first thing I did was go online to research different show halters and see if there were any restrictions or requirements I needed to follow. I also just wanted to get some ideas for decorating horse halters. Then I went in search of conchos that I could order and have in time for the competition. Fortunately I was able to find what I was looking for and also was able to complete decorating the horse halter in time. as i was surfing online I came across a site called Jewelry Tack Room that can be found by visiting their online store at http://www.jewelrytackroom.com and saw a great selection of cameras. It occurred to me that as I was attending this horse competition with the rest of the family I would like to get some photos of my niece doing what she loves best. My camera had just broken so I decided to buy this 10 MP PowerShot E1 blue. Model - 3211b001  so I could capture all my nieces great moments.
