conchosConchos are a decorative piece used in western saddles for horses.  They come in many styles and shapes.  I was looking at them on a website recently and was amazed by the different kinds there are out there for horse saddles.  I saw silver and gold, ones with rhinestones and swarovski crystals, plain and laser cut designs.  There were heart shapes, circles, flowers and more.  Some of the designs that were engraved on them were longhorn steer, religious icons, stars, hearts, and horse shoes.  Even the colors varied from one to the next.  I never knew there were so many kinds out there.  Not only do they sell them for horse saddles, but people are making fashion statements with them.  They are on belts, holsters, spur straps, purses, shoes and more.  They are shiny and bright and make all of these things look even prettier.  Who knew there were so many uses for conchos!  I was so amazed by what I saw on the internet.   I really learned a lot about conchos when I was online.
