equestrian tack, conchos
My daughter, Roxie, always loved horses.  She learned to ride when she was about five-years-old.  That girl was fearless...regardless of the horse's size, she would get on-board and ride!  As she got older, we got her a horse of her own.  The horse was named Princess, and she was all that and more.  What a beautiful horse...not too big, and what a luscious color.  There was no horse tack or show halters that didn't look beautiful on Princess.  As Roxie and Princess grew older, they began to enter competitions.  Roxie even had a pair on conchos she wore occasionally.  Boy, did she look great! Did they win?  Yes, and often.

Roxie had a huge competition coming up this past week, and we were anxiously awaiting to see how she and Princess did.  True to form, Princess pranced out there as if she owned the place.  No horse could touch her.

The equestrian tack sparkled against this great horse's body, and Roxie looked regal as she rode her.  When she won this special event, her Father and I decided to get her something really special...something personal representing her love of Princess and the sport.

Going online, I found a wonderful ecommerce store called Jewelry Tack Room located at http://www.jewelrytackroom.com.  It was on this site I found the gift we were seeking.  It was a fantastic horseshoe cuff bracelet.  This bracelet matched the horseshoe earrings we had gotten her for Christmas.  I knew her Grandmother was getting her another horseshoe pendant for her birthday in May; so, this was the completion of a set she would enjoy and remember for years to come.

Roxie is so knowledgeable about horses, and she is planning on incorporating that knowledge in her future career.  She loves children, and she is thinking of utilizing horses to help disabled and disadvantaged children.  She worked two summers at a camp doing just that, and she loved it.  Roxie is a beautiful young woman, and her love of animals is easily transferred to the children.  That love and the respect of the horses has proven to be a winning combination to connect the children to their rides.

Horse halters, equestrian tack, conchos...they are only the beginning of things that can bring hope and change to these kids.  Roxie has that knowledge, and the animals and children feel her warmth and love.  That will be key to her success.  Is it worth the time and effort spent all these years...can a catfish swim?
