First the Earrings and Horse Halters, and Then the Pony |

A few days ago I was watching the news and noticed that the weather report was showing a steady increase in temps over the next few weeks which means that spring is definitely on its way. I called my son and told him what I'd seen and asked if we needed to start going through our horse halters and start preparing everything to start riding again in the next few weeks and he thought it sounded like a good idea. Since I hadn't bought any horse halters in the past few years, I had a feeling that when I went out to the stables that I was going to find that at least one of the horse halters would need to be replaced, if not two. Mine was looking a little worse for wear last year, but I decided that I didn't want the expense of the horse halters at the end of the riding season last year so figured I could take care of it this year.
Since I always order my horse halters from the Internet, I knew that I'd need to decide soon how many horse halters I need and place the order. That way I can be assured to have them in when it's time for us to start riding. I also promised to buy my granddaughter a pony this year for her birthday, so that will mean even more horse halters hanging in the stable. Even though I wasn't quite ready to place the order yet, I decided to browse horse halters online to see if I could find one that my granddaughter would like. Instead, I came across Silver & Diamond Horse Shoe Earrings D.02 Carat Total Weight that I found for a great price at Jewelry Tack Room whose online store can be found by visiting www.jewelrytackroom.com. As much as my granddaughter loves horses, I knew she'd love the earrings so I decided to order them for her. I will give them to her first, along with a note that I've ordered her first horse halters, which will be a sure confirmation to her that her new pony is on its way. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she puts the horse halters on the pony for the first time and takes a ride on her own. It's going to be a memorable occasion for our family and the beginning of a beautiful relationship between her and her horse. |
