conchos


Conchos are the thing to decorate cowboy wear. They are different shaped pieces of metal that are stamped with designs or made with cut outs. I have seen conchos used on shirts, hats, belts, purses, chaps and pants. The use of metal conchos are many and it is up to the eye of the beholder.

I recently ordered some cowboy conchos online for my boyfriend, I used them to decorate a new cowboy hat for him for his birthday. He knew he was getting the hat because we had shopped for it together. I did not want to pick it out alone as that is a very personal item. Previously he and I had discussed conchos so I had a pretty good idea of what he would like with those and got them as a surprise.

The cowboy hat adorned with those cowboy related conchos went over very well. My boyfriend really appreciated my effort and he wears the hat most days of the week. He takes good care of the hat by gently setting it on his dresser every night.
