My daughter has a show this weekend with her favorite horse and yesterday afternoon she called me in a panic from the stables because she couldn’t find the show halter that I’d ordered for her online last month. I tried to say a few words, but she was so upset that she wouldn’t even let me talk. Finally, I told her that if she wanted me to help her find the show halter, she’d have to calm down a little bit. She was so excited when she found the show halter online that I had to order it for her. She was convinced that the halter would help her and Baby win the show and when she couldn’t find the show halter she went into panic mode and stopped thinking. Once she calmed down enough to listen to me, I expressed to her that she’d been worried for nothing, because all she had to was look in the white box that was in the closet where the blankets were and she should see it inside. Sure enough, within a minute she had the halter in her hand and she realized she’d panicked for nothing.
