My daughter came home heartbroken from a show recently when she realized that she’d left her favorite show halter at the stables where they had the show at. I called the owner hoping that someone would have turned in the show halter but she looked and said she didn’t see it and as of that time no one had turned it in. The halter was beautiful and I could see why someone may have decided to keep it, but it didn’t make things any easier on my daughter. Since I actually had the website bookmarked where I’d ordered the show halter online, I decided to go online and see if they possibly still had them in stock. It had been several months since I ordered it and luckily for me, they did still have it. I ordered the show halter and haven’t mentioned it to my daughter. Once it arrives, I’ll give her the package and allow her to open it. I’ll also suggest that she be a little more careful in the future when she’s packing up everything after a show. This way she won’t be as likely to leave something behind.
