My daughter was so happy to come home yesterday on her last day of school to find that the horse halter and other supplies that I’d ordered her online had arrived. She was beaming from ear to hear when she walked in the door and saw the package. We’d recently bought her a horse and because of school she hasn’t been able to spend that much time with him. When we were browsing online last week for the horse halter, she asked when she’d be able to spend more time with Chocolate and I promised her that as soon as school was out we would discuss her going every day.
I wish that we had the space to keep Chocolate here, but we don’t have enough space for him to run free, so we have him at a friend’s home about two miles away. I knew as soon as she saw the horse halter and supplies she’d want to take them to Chocolate and I was correct. I promised her that we’d go yesterday after dinner and even though I could tell she didn’t want to wait, she didn’t have a choice. I figured she’d leave the horse halter with Chocolate, but she didn’t, she brought it home with her and put it beside her bed. I think it’s safe to say, she loves her horse.
