My cousin is riding in her first rodeo this weekend and as of last night she still wasn’t sure if her show halter was going to arrive on time. I felt really bad because she called to ask me if I knew how long it should take for her show halter to arrive and I couldn’t give her a clear cut answer because I wasn’t sure when her mother ordered it and neither was she. I asked to speak to her mom, and sure enough, she’d ordered it a week before. Technically, the show halter should arrive in time for the show, but if it didn’t arrive today or Saturday morning then it would be too late. I commented and asked her if she could have waited any later to order the show halter and she said she’d forgotten all about it until the last minute. I’m hoping that it arrives in time and that next time she plans to place an order that she does it in plenty of time. Heaven knows that my poor cousin doesn’t need that added stress before the show.
