equestrian tackOne of my mom’s closet friends has had a horse for much longer then I have even been alive. She had this horse for years longer then my mom has even known her. The horse’s name is Rocket and he just turned 38 years old. I don’t know much about horses but this is a long time to be alive. My mom recently saw her friend and the horse just before the holidays. Rocket is boarded at a local barn but still looks good minus the rash on his face. As an ode to Rocket, my mom found some equestrian tack online to give him for Christmas. There is never an age where something including a horse can’t look good.

When they went to the barn where he is boarded, equestrian tack in hand, they noticed he was checking out and naying at a young little pony prancing around the field. Rocket is a huge stallion and even with the rash on his old face had the stones to hit on the little pony in horse speak. My mom laughed as she recounted this story. With the new equestrian tack, Rocket may just land a young girlfriend. Who knows?
