horse tack, horse halters
When my daughter expressed her love of horses, we were thrilled.  She took lessons, and learned all the correct terminology such as "show halters," and "conchos."  She wanted to compete; so, we encouraged her to give her best, learn from the best, and above all, be happy with her decisions.  She did just that, and she started winning or placing by the time she was sixteen-years-old.

We wanted to get her something special for all the hard work and continued success.  I went online seeking an ecommerce store.  I discovered Jewelry Tack Room located at http://www.jewelrytackroom.com.  There I found the perfect gift,..a horseshoe bracelet.  This was a gold and silver bracelet with horseshoes facing each other.  She loves this type of jewelry; so, we were delighted to find and purchase this special gift.

It has been a wonderful journey as we have watched her learn and grow.  Her horse, Fancy, has been with her for most of the time, and there is such a special bond between them.  She has bought beautiful horse tack for Fancy, and the horse halters match Fancy's color of deep red.

To see children and their interest in animals has been so rewarding for our entire family.  There is a mutual respect that develops and grows between animal and child.  Watching our daughter, Roxie, and Fancy become "one" has been inspirational.  Roxie is now taking Fancy to camps for children who are ill.  This has been an even more meaningful experience for all of us.  Roxie is definitely a cowgirl, and she has the conchos to prove it.

Now Roxie is also teaching children her skills.  It has been exciting, and we are so proud of everything we see.  Some of her students are going to begin competition soon.  We are anxious to see how they fare.  They are beginning to get that look of awe Roxie had at that age, and we know she is truly teaching them all she knows.  She is even teaching them about the matching "horse halters."  That has been a hoot!  One child has red hair, and she also has a red horse.  I believe she is Roxie's favorite since she gave her some of Fancy's horse tack.

Whenever I go home and feel a little tired, I look at "Roxie's Room," and I see all the medals and trophies.  I see the pictures of Roxie and Fancy...growing up together...winning together.  This is what life is all about.  Giving your best, doing your best, being your best.
