A friend of mine is considering getting a horse and called me a few days ago to ask what I thought. I was honored that she thought my opinion was valuable, but the truth of the matter is, I don’t know that much about horses. My sister used to ride one when we were younger and I do remember that things like horse tack and the horse halter were expensive, but that was all I could tell her. I also remember how much my sister loved it and still talks to this day about getting another horse. Meg said that she’d always wanted a horse too and that she’d been able to find a great price on a horse halter and other horse tack online. She said it was much cheaper than buying in the stores, and so that wasn’t a concern. She’d also been looking at stables in the country, since she lives in the city and hardly has room for a horse in her tiny yard. I promised her that I’d help her find things online if she needed any help, but other than that, I didn’t know what else I could do. I do think I’d like to ride it though, if she ends up getting it. It would be my first horse ride ever.
