equestrian tack


My morning rides are becoming very pleasant these days with the brisk cool mornings. The weather where I live has brought in a cool front and it has been simply delightful. I get up before the sun rises every morning to mess around with my critters in the barn. It doesn't take me long to grab the equestrian tack and saddle up my favorite steed. Then off we go for an early morning ride. 

We may be gone for hours romping along the rolling green hills of the countryside near our home. After a good run we slowly amble back towards the ranch. It is then that I remove the equestrian tack that consists of a bridle, reins, saddle and blanket. My faithful friend gets a brushing down and some morning chow of his own.

Then it is my turn for some breakfast. Afterwards I like to visit the barn again and clean up my equestrian tack. I have a thing about keeping it tidy and the leather well oiled in between rides. I also do some maintenance on my horse by cleaning out his hooves and possibly braiding his tail or mane. It's all in days regimen where I live.
