     My daughter just joined the FFA at school, and in doing so she has met a young lady that has gotten her interested in barrel racing. For those of you who do not know what barrel racing is I will tell you. Barrels are spread out 105 ft and 90 ft respectively in a triangle if you will. The competitors are arranged in divisions from beginner to professional. Basically the idea is to race around the barrels on your horse in a preset pattern, the fastest rider and horse that dont over turn a barrel, win! My daughters little paint mare is not that fast on the top end, but the little mare gets there really fast, perfect for barrel racing.


     I was able to find all of my horse tack online at a great price. From equestrian tack and show halters, to conchos and beautiful custom saddles, it was all there. I was able to purchase a beautiful saddle, a little used but in great condition, and all of the other necessary horse tack from a gentleman whose daughters horse had out grown it. Apparently his daughter is a professional now at the age of 16, and makes more money than him and his wife put together, nice.
